What is Thai Massage for pregnancy?

Performed on a mat on the floor, Thai Massage for pregnancy uses a range of props and different body positions so that you are fully supported and comfortable at all times. Thai Massage for pregnancy is an active style of massage that helps relieve muscular tension and improve joint mobility, particularly in the hips and back, with assisted gentle stretching and rhythmic acupressure. Wearing your own loose, comfortable clothing for the massage, no oils or scents are used.

Who can have Thai Massage for pregnancy?

Thai Massage for pregnancy is gentle enough for any stage of your pregnancy, from the earliest weeks right up until your final weeks.

What other benefits are there from Thai Massage for pregnancy?

Thai Massage for pregnancy can help you find relief from nausea and fluid retention, relieve hip and lower back pain, improve your ability to breathe comfortably, reduce shoulder soreness and neck tension, improve your ability to move and sleep pain free, assist with your preparation for birth and leave you with a deep feeling of relaxation.

Pre & Post Natal Yoga

Thai Massage for pregnancy is a great complement to prenatal Yoga. Ramone is also a qualified Pre and Post Natal Yoga teacher. You can book in for a one-hour consultation with Ramone where she will create a tailored program of Yoga to follow at home for one to four weeks. Examples of follow at home programs include birth preparation, meditation and postnatal recovery.

Praise for Pregnancy Thai Massage!

10 January 2015

Hi Ramone,

Thank you for helping me through my final trimester of this pregnancy. The Prenatal thai-yoga massage therapy has helped me cope with my physical hip/pelvic complaints, reduced my stress and promoted my own - and my baby's -- wellbeing. Some of the many benefits I have experienced include:

  • helping my body eliminate waste products through the lymphatic and circulatory systems, resulting in increased energy.

  • easing muscle discomfort such as cramping, tightening, stiffness, tension and knots.

  • reducing some of the normal discomforts of pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches, swelling and sore feet and ankles.

  • releasing nervous tension, allowing me to sleep more easily and deeply. I just slept through the entire night last night-which is unheard of with only 2 week till due date!!

You're the best..!
