Hi There!

 

I'm Ramone. A soul seeking traveller with wanderlust at heart, I'm your host at the Samadhi Sri Lanka Yoga and Surf Retreat.

 

This retreat is really special for me, as my family is from Sri Lanka. It's a fascinating country with a rich heritage, an incredibly diverse natural environment and I am so excited to share it with you! 

 

My own life story is rich and diverse too. Through extensive travel and many careers, I've finally been led to my current passion - creating exceptional experiences to help you live a life that allows you to "be wild, be wise and be well". 

 

What does 'be wild' mean? Taking life too seriously for too long disconnects you from the joy of spontenaiety. Getting back to nature and it's unpredictability is the best antidote to the stress that arises from living a structured, urban lifestlye. Being wild helps you reconnect with your natural rythms and temperament and frees you from perceived expecations that limit you. 

 

Being 'wise' is an ongoing process of learning your own life lessons from expereince and also choosing to accept lessons from those sent to guide you. It involves self exploration, reflection on your experiences and the application of new ways of being to your personal actions and interactions with others every day. It also means being prepared to let go of the past so you can live more fully in the present moment. 

 

For me, being 'well' is cultivating daily practices of self love, self respect and self nourishment that allow you to thrive. Your recipe for wellness is unique to you and listening to your intuition and honouring you highest calling can help guide you to create and live a peaceful and fulfilling life. 

 

Samadhi Sri Lanka is designed to help you experience your own powerful wisdom, uncover the wildness of your soul by immersion in nature and return home with a toolkit for lasting wellness.
